In this Journal I will talk about my journey through cancer, amputation and other illnesses and how
that has provided me with great spiritual growth and healing. Entries will be posted as my energy
level and health permits. There is a link at the bottom of the page if you wish to read archived
entries. From time to time I may add an amendment to a previous entry to clarify what I
previously wrote. The amendments will appear in black text.

A Major Life Challenge can Inspire Others
I hear quite often that I inspire others through my journey and I'm happy to hear that. There are many
stories of people going through or have conquered major life challenges that inspire. We may want to
seek out these stories if feeling down or unmotivated in our own lives as way of a reminder that we too can
inspire.
My inner strength inspired my son and daughter recently. They went together and each got their left foot
tattooed in my honour (my lower left leg is the amputated one).
Please See Me as One who is Living not One who is Passing
I feel it is important for me now that all hold the vision of me as one who is living not one who is passing.
Every day that I have good energy is a gift that allows me to spend time with my family and friends, read
and spend time on my computer doing something I enjoy. I ask, that if necessary, to please shift any
thinking you have of me in the direction of one who is living. Thank you!
